Thanks for visiting our web site. Whether you’re a transient or a local, Lawrence County Kentucky is a great place
to Live, Work and Play.

I would first like to introduce myself. My name is Keith Chaffin and I am the Chairman of Lawrence County Tourism
Commission. The Commission
is an arm of the Lawrence County Fiscal Court.  I was born and raised in Lawrence County.

I am proud to call this place my home. The Tourism Commission is made up of a total of 7 people. We meet each month
on
the second Monday at 5PM on the second floor of The Fred M Vinson Museum.

Our Tourism office is located at 315 East Madison Street. The pasts commission members are: Karen Barnette, Susie
Chambers, Tonya Castle, Mike Sullivan, Debbie Hill, Brenda Tussey and myself. The purpose of the committee is to provide
advertising and promotion of local community
events.

This includes working with the state tourism commission to help with matching funds to advertise our County and Cities
all over the State
of Kentucky.  We would love for you to visit. Check out everything our web site has to offer. If there are
questions that cannot be answered,
please let me know. We can mail you brochures if needed. Please stop in again for
updates to this site.

Thanks,
Keith Chaffin
